Bruce Gustafson – Founder & Craftsman
From the time Bruce picked up his first hammer as a teenager, he knew he was meant to build. He spent his entire teenage and early adult years framing new homes across coastal South Carolina, learning the true backbone of construction from the ground up. Those long days on job sites—reading blueprints, interpreting construction drawings, and working side-by-side with builders, inspectors, and homeowners—instilled a deep respect for structural integrity, craftsmanship, and the details that bring a home to life.
As his passion grew, so did his desire to create spaces that weren’t just built well, but felt beautiful. In 2017, Bruce founded BW Gustafson, a remodeling company dedicated to high-quality, hands-on renovation work. Over the years, he has completed countless projects ranging from custom carpentry and screen porches to full kitchen and bath remodels, cabinetry upgrades, light electrical and plumbing, drywall repair, and more—always guiding each project from estimate to final walkthrough with an unwavering commitment to quality.
Bruce’s talent lies not only in the precision of his work, but in the pride he takes in clear communication, fairness, and consistency. He approaches every remodel as an opportunity to transform a space into something brighter, more functional, and more meaningful for the people who live there.
Today, as a driving force behind Low Tide Interiors, Bruce brings decades of hands-on experience to every project. His dream has always been simple: to craft beautiful coastal spaces where quality meets comfort—and to build homes that feel as good as they look.
